Privacy policy

Perseat is a marketplace that introduces companies looking to outsource work to providers who can do it. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and who sees it.
What we collect
From buyers: the name, email address, company name, and request details you enter when you ask to be matched — including team size, budget, and the description of the work you need.
From providers: your company name, contact email, business phone, website, headquarters, service categories, languages, capacity, and any pricing range you choose to publish.
Automatically: standard server logs generated by our hosting provider.
Why we collect it
To match buyers with providers and to make introductions between them. That is the service.
To send transactional email: verification links, sign-in links, lead notifications, and introduction emails.
To review provider applications before they are published.
Who we share it with
When a buyer requests an introduction to a provider, we share that buyer's name, company, email address, and request details with that provider. This only happens when the buyer asks for the introduction.
Until an introduction is requested, requests posted on our public board are anonymized: no buyer name, company, email, or identifying detail is shown.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
We use service providers to operate the platform — hosting, database, and email delivery — who process data on our behalf.
Provider pricing
Providers choose whether their per-seat pricing is shown exactly, shown only as a broad tier, or hidden entirely. We do not disclose a provider's exact rates to other providers, and hidden rates are excluded from any public figures we display.
How long we keep it
Requests and provider listings are kept while they are active and for a reasonable period afterward for our records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing daniel@perseat.io.
Providers can edit or remove their listing at any time from the provider portal.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA. We will honor those requests.
Cookies
We set a cookie when a provider signs in to the portal, and when an administrator signs in. These are necessary for sign-in to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Children
Perseat is a service for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
